Online Lessons from Around the World:
meet Tanya
Hello everybody!
I am Tanya, Lingodrops's founder and coach.
I have been working with students from all around the world for 8 years now.
I absolutely love teaching, it's my vocation and my passion in life. I devote much of my time trying to study the best method to make learning a language easier and fun.
But..I am also a long-term traveller and a polyglot!
Lingodrops is my dream come true!
A love for Life, Languages and Teaching
Travelling
Although I was born and raised in Venice, Italy, I am also a so-called ''digital nomad'', and I am on a world trip!
In the past years I have been working on this amazing project: visit all the countries of the world!
And at the moment of writing this, I am halfway through.
What does it mean for you as a student?
As you can imagine, I can't sit still. And this is what I bring to my lessons: playfulness, activity, fun. I could never have you sit and do loads and loads of exercises, as I think it really DOESN'T WORK for most people!
But who am I to say so? well..

Polyglot (8+ languages)
Your teacher happens to also be a polyglot (8 languages)!
As I mentioned, I cannot sit still, so when I am not travelling or teaching, I am learning new languages.
I dedicate many hours a day to learning new languages myself. At the moment I can speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese(not fluent yet, helaas!) and I am working on my Russian.
This is why I can say languages are my life.
But as much as I love grammar, I have never worked on a grammar book, never done exercises, never followed any classes.
I am self taught, because I have learned how to teach languages to myself, and I have spent years developing a method that allows people to learn the natural way. Without spending hours doing things that just give you a temporary feeling of achievement, but do not last.
And if I can do it with my method: YOU CAN TOO.
If you happen to be a native speaker of the languages I can speak, the lessons can be in your native language.
:-)
